In the beginning, my films were crafted almost like handmade objects. But as projects grew bigger, they required more expertise and organization.
That’s when I created Akama Studio: a structure to carry those ambitions.
We took risks, made bold films, and some won major awards, bringing new clients and amazing talents eager to join.

Over time, people confused Akama the director with Akama Studio the company.
So the studio kept the same team and spirit, but changed its name to NKI.
For 10 more years, NKI was our creative home: campaigns that made a mark, 65+ international awards, and above all a way of working built on resilience and collaboration.

After two decades with the same studio, first Akama Studio then NKI, I decided to start fresh with my second studio: 2WICE.
Lighter, faster, and fully cloud-based, 2WICE builds custom teams for each project, like LEGO pieces fitting together wherever the talent is. Our focus: high-end 3D animation and VFX, blending human expertise with generative AI to meet today’s new challenges.
2WICE is not a restart. it is the logical next step.
